Due to his affinity for information technology, Dr. Benjamin Manthey never thinks about data protection law in isolation from technical requirements and framework conditions. This applies to the choice of legal basis as well as to the structuring of data processing, including subsequent anonymization processes. Data law increasingly goes beyond the General Data Protection Regulation and in many cases also encompasses other issues. In addition to the AI Regulation and the Digital Services Act, this also increasingly includes IT security issues (NIS2).
