Axel Voss MEP congratulates on the foundation of the law firm
“We need a version 2.0 of the GDPR because in its current form it eclipses other fundamental rights, leads to an explosion in compliance costs and massively hinders Europe’s digital transformation,” says Axel Voss MEP. A statement that provided sufficient room for an exciting and intensive discussion in the DPL offices. “Because we also see an enormous need for modernization with the GDPR. We were happy to contribute our expertise and experience from our day-to-day dealings with data protection law,” says law firm founder Dr. Stefan Drewes.
For Axel Voss this was a very good exchange. “I am very pleased that a law firm specializing in data protection with renowned and experienced attorneys has settled here in Bonn. As a member of parliament, I need such sparring partners with whom one can have a well-founded and intensive exchange about data protection law. Once again, I gained very deep insights into the daily practice of dealing with the GDPR,” says the MEP. He warmly congratulated Dr. Stefan Drewes on the establishment of the new firm and wished him all the best and much success for the future.
